FAXHAVEN for Windows 3.1

The philosophy of FH4WIN 3.1 will be to provide the WIN 3.1 user with older hardware and limited resources with functioning FAX software without all of the glitzy clutter. We will make good use of standard Windows components, such as Notepad for browsing log files and PC-PaintBrush for editing FAXes (annotating).

If you are looking for a complete, WIN 3.1 based, FAX send & receive package which is easy on your RAM, your disk drive & your wallet, FaxHaven for WIN 3.1 is for you.

FAXHAVEN Installation Information
Installing FH4WIN is a simple three step procedure.
  • Download the ZIP file Fh4WIN31.zip below.
  • Unzip the file into an empty temporary directory.
  • From File Manager find the program "Setup.exe" and run it.
  • There will appear Dialog boxes asking you from what directory and to what directory to install FH4WIN.
  • Accept the default directory to install from. (This is denoted by a period).
  • Enter your choice of directory to install to. This directory will be created.
    YOU MUST NOT INSTALL FH4WIN 3.1 INTO THE DIRECTORY IT WAS DOWNLOADED INTO!
  • Now you can watch FH4WIN install itself. It will only take a minute.

    When the installation is complete, there will be a new Program Group in your Program Manager window. Your Windows directory will be updated with one DLL file and one print driver. The progman.ini and Win.ini files will be updated.
