FAXHAVEN

Welcome to the World Wide Web Page for FAXHAVEN.
This user-friendly product enables users to receive and process FAXes on their PC, as well as produce and transmit FAXes in one easy step.
FAXHAVEN includes the stand-alone product 1-Step High Quality FAX.

FAXHAVEN comes with ample on-line help as well as a first-time-use tutorial. A seventy-page user manual is provided to registered users.
FAXHAVEN is ideally suited for users of older PC equipment who have had trouble with applications designed for high-end PCs.
Use FAXHAVEN to turn that old 8088 or 80286 in the closet into a low-cost, but powerful FAX machine.
FAXHAVEN ver. 7.0 works with all classes of video monitors from Hercules to Super VGA or High-resolution monitors.
FAXHAVEN runs on DOS or WINDOWS. FAXHAVEN works with Class 1, Class 2, and CAS modems.
FAXHAVEN runs in less than 640KB of ram and requires less than 2 meg of disk storage to install and run.
Faxhaven includes a powerful utility for converting among image files in a variety of formats: FAX/PCX/DCX and several types of TIFF.
Also included is a utility for converting from the above image formats to printer formats: ECL/PCL/QUM.
FAXHAVEN requires no special equipment other than a FAX modem.
FAXHAVEN provides a command-line interface for all of it's components so that they may be driven from your application.

If you are only looking for software to receive and print FAXes, you will want to know about PRINTFAX. PRINTFAX is a product dedicated to receiving and printing FAXes.
It works with several different printers: HP-LaserJet, Epson-LQ, QUMe, Toshiba, NEC.
Dust off that old 286 in the closet and convert it to a low-cost FAX machine.
FAXSERVER is not available as an evaluation download. It is a repackaged subset of 1-Step FAXHAVEN. It is sold separately for $29.00.
Feel free to download FAXHAVEN, evaluate the FAX receive and print capability, and then order PRINTFAX if you like it.

From there search for faxhvn (6 letters).

You may download and evaluate FAXHAVEN at your convenience.
All you have to do is click here for FAXHAVEN and the self-extracting program "FAXHVN70.exe" will be downloaded to your PC.
Then you simply run this program and FAXHAVEN will extract itself into the directory it is stored in.
You may wish to move FAXHAVEN into an empty directory first.
Then you simply type 'Install' and FAXHAVEN will install itself on your PC.
You may then work through the first-time-use tutorial in the Readme file (readme.fh).
